On June 30th Fergus called on all walkers, joggers or runners at Distilled SCH to complete the first ever Malin to Mizen New Memories Challenge from 5-11th July!!!
The aim was to walk, jog or run enough km’s get from Malin Head (the most northerly point in Ireland) to Mizen Head (the most southerly point in Ireland). But it wasn’t just about the 549km from Ireland’s tip to toe, they also wanted us to make some new memories along the way…
Fergus asked us to capture any new memories made along the way by sharing any photos/videos in #distilled-malin-to-mizen-new-memories-challenge
This was all in aid of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland - a fantastic service that works across the country in the heart of local communities providing dementia specific services and supports, advocating for the rights and needs of all people living with dementia and their carers.
As you can see, they completed their challenge, and raised an excellent total of €4,065 for their Charity!
