<p dir="ltr">We are looking for a Solutions Architect to join the Distilled
engineering team. We’ve recently been on a journey to the cloud and from
monoliths to microservices. This role will give you the opportunity to bring
our platform and architecture to the next phase of maturity. You will drive
the technical design, direction & implementation of the Daft Platform and
work with our Product & Engineering Leadership to build a vision and
roadmap to support our strategic goals.</p>

<ul><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Partnering with Product & Engineering
Leadership to define medium & long term strategies & roadmap</p></li><li
dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Drive the technical design of our platform
architecture. Identifying areas of improvement, suggesting, and designing
solutions for them</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Actively
contributing to the success of key projects and features for Daft.ie</p></li><li
dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Acting as a role model and mentor to developers of
all disciplines in our engineering team</p></li></ul><p><strong>Job requirements</strong></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>What competencies, skills and experience do I need?</strong></p>
<ul><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Experience architecting complex cloud based
systems from inception through to delivery, ideally within an AWS
environment</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Demonstrated experience
working with business and technology partners to define and deliver on
long term roadmaps</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Technical breadth
and depth - you’re comfortable working across areas such as Backend,
Frontend, Data & SRE</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Experience
working with Java technologies, Spring Framework, REST services, React.js,
Event-Driven Architectures a plus</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Strong
communications skills - the ability to share ideas and influence outcomes</p></li><li
dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Experience working in an Agile environment - we use a
combination of Scrum & Kanban</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Ability
to thrive independently, while also being a strong teammate</p></li><li
dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Creative thinking and is willing and able to solve
complicated problems that others cannot</p></li></ul>
